The Savannah Bananas announced their 2025 schedule, and Pittsburgh’s PNC Park will once again be a stop on the tour.
The Bananas will play the Texas Tailgaters for two days, Aug. 29-30.
It’s the first time the Bananas, a barnstorming team that brings dancing, hijinx, tricks and more to major and minor league fields around the country, will be in the Steel City.
Butler High School grad Alex Ziegler is a member of the Bananas and threw out a first pitch before a Pirates vs. Cincinnati Reds game.
The Bananas will also make stops in other cities in 2025 not far from Pittsburgh, including: Cincinnati (June 13-14), Richmond, Va. (June 20-21), Washington, D.C. (June 27-28), Lehigh Valley (July 5-6), Philadelphia (July 26-27) and Baltimore (Aug. 1-2).
