What guests should know about attending the Saturday rally for Donald Trump at the Butler Farm Show grounds
Those who attend the Saturday, Oct. 5, campaign rally for former President Donald Trump at the Butler Farm Show grounds will hear from Trump, Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance and others beginning at 2 p.m.
Sen. Vance of Ohio is scheduled to speak at the site of the July 13 assassination attempt beginning at 4:30 p.m., and Republican presidential candidate Trump is expected to deliver his remarks at 5 p.m., according to information shared with registered guests by the campaign.
Event programming is set to begin at 2 p.m.
A line is expected to form early, and doors open at 10 a.m.
Those attending the rally are asked to arrive at the Butler Farm Show grounds, 625 Evans City Rd., Butler, no later than 1 p.m. However, the main entrance for the event and event parking are along Buttercup Road. No access will be allowed via the venue’s main entrance.
Parking opens at 7 a.m. for the outdoor event, and people are advised to avoid arriving prior to 7 a.m. RVs and overnight parking will not be allowed.
Overflow parking is located at 543 Evans City Rd, Butler.
All guests will be screened by the United States Secret Service when entering the venue. No bags or pursues will be allowed.
Prohibited items include aerosols, alcoholic beverages, appliances (toasters), backpacks, suitcases, balloons, balls, banners, signs, placards, chairs, coolers, drones, e-cigarettes, explosives of any kind (including fireworks), firearms, laser lights, mace or pepper spray, noisemakers (airhorns, whistles, drums, bullhorns, etc.), containers (glass, thermal or metal), packages, poles or sticks (including selfie sticks), structures, tripods, umbrellas, weapons or any other item that may pose a threat to the security of the event as determined by and at the discretion of the security screeners.
