Latrobe man creates painting at Trump Butler rally
As crowds filed into the Butler Farm Show grounds in Connonquennessing Township Saturday, Oct. 5, for former President Donald Trump’s campaign rally, Mark Henry of Latrobe painted a scene from Trump’s last visit.
Henry worked on a painting of Trump moments after the assassination attempt during the July 13 rally. It shows Trump with his fist raised after being covered by and then helped to his feet by Secret Service.
Henry also had created a painting of Corey Comperatore, the former Buffalo Township fire chief who was killed shielding his family at the July rally. This painting was on display nearby as Henry painted Trump.
