Northern Butler County under severe thunderstorm warning
Northern Butler County is under a severe thunderstorm warning until 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6.
National Weather Service Pittsburgh issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the entire county, in effect until 11 p.m. Municipalities, including Harrisville Eau Claire, Slippery Rock, West Sunbury, Bruin, Petrolia and Chicora are under warning for winds of up to 70 mph and quarter-sized hail until 7:30 p.m.
The National Weather Service Pittsburgh has issued several severe thunderstorm warnings for areas north of Butler County Sunday afternoon and evening.
