Former Knoch swimmer Michael Phillips was one of four Westminster College athletes named to the President’ Athletic Conference preseason men’s swimmers and divers watch list this week.

Phillips, a senior, swims distance free, breaststroke and individual medley events.

Westminster was picked fourth in the coaches poll.

A balanced effort easily secured Butler County Community College a 3-0 sweep Tuesday night of the Community College of Allegheny County.

Josie Russo led the way with eight kills in eight blocks as the Pioneers (18-0) won by set scores of 25-7, 25-10, 25-5.

Dakota Weldon had seven kills and Molly Bissell five. Anora Robare dished out 19 assists and Marly Koleno eight digs.

Next up is a Tuesday match at Penn State-Greater Allegheny.
