Food fair preparations
The Butler League of Women Voters planned a Food Fair for the Butler YMCA, to take place Oct. 23, 1971.
The group’s co-chairwomen, Mrs. Bennitt and Mrs. Monteith, prepared funghi marinati and pate of chicken liver and borscht. “Glamorous” entrées were planned to be served at the fest, and “delectable desserts” would end the meal, under the baking direction of Mrs. Walters.
The women in the group were all smiles as they began preparing food for the event on Oct. 11, 1971.
