Robinson

Raymond Robinson, 67, of New Brighton, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024.

Born April 23, 1957, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Jackie Rodgers Robinson and the late Raymond E. Robinson.

Ray was a hardworking and dedicated man. He had an incredible sense of humor. Ray was an avid sports fan and loved NASCAR. He valued his family and was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who will be dearly missed.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 36 years, Diane McCandless Robinson; his mother, Jackie Rodgers Robinson; his children, Raymond C. Robinson and Michelle Robinson-Snyder (Ryan); his brothers, Jeff (Tina) Robinson and Ken Robinson; his sisters, Lynn Crawford (Quinlin) and Laura Lynch (Gerry); his grandchildren, Clara, Luca and Emerson; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Karen Shomaker; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Ray was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Arlene McCandless.

ROBINSON — Friends of Raymond Robinson, who died Oct. 8, 2024, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. The family encourages guests to dress casually.

A funeral ceremony will be held at noon Sunday, Oct. 13, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Ray’s honor to the Harmony Fire District, 424 S Main St, Zelienople, PA 16063, harmonyfire22.org/ways-to-donate.
