Lester Hulick

Hulick

Lester “Butch” Hulick, 77, of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, at home.

He was born on Oct. 24, 1946, in Broad Top, Pa., to the late John and Roxie (LaVelle) Hulick.

Lester graduated from Butler High School in 1964. He retired from the melt shop at ARMCO, where he worked for 32 years.

Lester married his loving wife, Eloise (Black) Hulick, on Aug. 11, 1975.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His granddaughter, Ava, was his special love. Lester was a member of the National Rifle Association and a lifetime member of the Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club. He loved fishing and was a crossword and trivia master. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.

Lester is survived by his beloved wife, Eloise Hulick; son, Erik (Kylie) Hulick; granddaughter, Ava; and sister, Wanda Parnay.

Along with his parents, Lester was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Madeline Hulick; and his siblings, Gloria Wolfe, Betty Lou Powell and Hubert Black.

The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice — especially Macenzie, Emily, Vikki and Anthony for their wonderful care and support. They are truly God’s angels.

HULICK — All arrangements for Lester “Butch” Hulick, who died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, were made privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
