Multiple fire departments called to Mercer Twp. campground
Firefighters responded to the Deer Hunter Campground in Mercer Township just after 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, for a report of a motor home on fire.
Additional fire departments were called to the scene to provide more firefighters and additional water after the first dispatch.
Firefighters on the scene reported to 911 dispatchers that a motor home was fully involved in flames at the campground.
Marion Township, Harrisville and Slippery Rock volunteer fire departments, plus Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department in Venango County, were dispatched to the scene.
