Gloria M. Rice, 87, of Zelienople, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, while under the care of Autumn Grove Care Center.

Born May 29, 1937, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Louis Theodore and Helen Pearl (Stanford) Anschuetz.

Gloria was an avid camper and enjoyed being outdoors at the Smith Grove campground, as well as Ponderosa Park. Her hobbies included needlepoint and ceramics. She also liked making rugs. Gloria was a loyal member of the Zion Lutheran Church, as well as a member of Women of the Moose. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Gloria leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Hazel Louise (Ron) Hans, Deborah Lynn (John) Stenzel and Richard Clyde (Debbie) Rice; her grandchildren, Bonnie (Kevin) Kummer, Dwaine Hans and Kevin Rice; her great-grandchildren, Veronica (Joey) Gentiles, Kyle (Alex) Kummer, Savannah Kummer and Jasmine Hans; and her great-great-grandchildren, Aiden, Madison, Carson, Carter, Lucas, Levi, Eternity and Navina.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde D. Rice; and her siblings, Bill, Helen, Alice, Louis, Ralph and Weldon.

RICE — Friends of Gloria M. Rice, who died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., following the visitation.

Gloria will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Park.
