Bennett 50th anniversary
Ronald and Janet Bennett, of Clinton Township, celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner on Oct. 5, 2024, and a sightseeing train trip to southwestern national parks.
Bennett married the former Janet Singer on Oct. 12, 1974, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Glenshaw.
They have two children, Kristina (Chris) Skocik of Columbus, Ohio, and Robert (Sammie) Bennett of Saxonburg.
The Bennetts also have five grandchildren.
Bennett is retired from construction products sales at Euclid Chemical. He is a member of Stoughton Acres Friday Night Couples League.
Mrs. Bennett is retired from industrial sales at Globe Electric Company. She is a member of the Stoughton Acres Lady Duffers and Friday Night Couples leagues.
The Bennetts are members of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church.
