One person was flown to Allegheny General Hospital after crashing a motorcycle at around 11:45 p.m. Monday night on New Castle Road in Slippery Rock Township.

The crash happened near 591 New Castle Road, prompting the road to be closed for an hour and 45 minutes while state police conducted an investigation of the crash, Ryan Hanchosky, chief of Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company, said.

As of Tuesday morning, state police Troop D had not released the crash report on the incident.
