The following items were collected from Butler police department:
Sept. 27 — Kristen N. Leroy, 38, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft related to a Sept. 18 incident at 7-11. Police said Leroy stole a Honey Bun valued at $2.
Sept. 27 — Gabrielle R. Young, 45, of Butler, was charged with felony retail theft related to a Sept. 27 incident at Rite Aid on Main Street. Police said Young stole makeup valued at $26.
Sept. 24 — Michael A. Tweed, 41, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a Sept. 2 vehicle crash at South Main and Wayne streets. Police said field sobriety tests showed Tweed was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.135%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.
Sept. 23 — Mark J. Kilchewski Jr., 43, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor counts of unauthorized device access and possessing stolen property related to a July 31 report of theft from multiple vehicles on Second Street. Police said Kilchewski stole credit cards and used them later to buy cigarettes and friendship bracelets.
