Fire departments in northern Butler County called to assist in Venango

Volunteer fire companies from Petrolia, Eau Claire, Bruin and Karns City in northern Butler County were called to assist at a structure fire at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, in neighboring Venango County.
The location of the fire was 570 Rockdale Road in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, which is west of the borough of Emlenton.
Firefighters at the scene reported no entrapment at the property, according to emergency services banter.
No further information was immediately available on the fire.
