Mars Area High School Marching Band to compete at PIMBA Championships
The Mars Area High School Marching Band will compete in the 2024 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Marching Band Association Championships on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at Gateway High School in Monroeville, Pa.
Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for students. The Fightin’ Planets will perform at about 6 p.m. The band is slated to face off against Class A bands from Deer Lakes, Southmoreland, Trinity and Yough high schools.
This year’s marching band show, titled “Up in Lights,” features the songs, “When I Grow Up” by PCD, “Applause” by Lady Gaga, “Lucky” by Britney Spears and “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd.
