Michael Arnold, 67, of Prospect, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024.

He was born in Clearfield on March 22, 1957, to the late Daniel and Eleanore (Livergood) Arnold.

Michael graduated from Clearfield High School in 1975, and later from Triangle Tech with an associate degree in maintenance electricity and construction technology. He honorably served as an air passenger specialist in the U.S. Air Force from 1975 to 1979. He worked at Harmony Castings, JSP and most recently at Pulva Corporation.

Mike was a man of few words. He valued hard work, and that showed in everything he did. He loved home remodeling — anything from painting to installing hardwood floors — and his craftsmanship was exceptional. Michael loved tinkering in the garage and was in the process of remodeling his home. He loved taking his dog, Olivia, for walks and going to flea markets.

Michael married the love of his life and best friend, Meredith (Grossman) Arnold, on June 27, 1993. He was the father of three children; brother of Martha (Bob) Rickard and Tom Arnold; and grandfather of several grandchildren. Michael also is survived by his faithful canine companion, Olivia; in-laws, Tom and Shirley Sund; sister-in-law, Heather (Paul) Horton; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tucker Arnold; and father-in-law, Larry Grossman.

ARNOLD — Family and friends of Michael Arnold, who died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. Full military honors and a prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society.
