Patricia A. Riley, 85, of Renfrew, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, while under the care of Concordia at Cabot.

Born March 27, 1939, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Thomas G. and Florence (Beck) Bester.

Patricia was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church in Meridian. She enjoyed decorating, baking, canning, sewing and gardening. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren immensely.

Patricia looked forward to seeing her husband, John, who passed away on June 9, 2014, in heaven. They were married for 56 years.

Patricia leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Sherri Madden and friend Pauley, Brenda Riley and friend Dan, John J. Riley IV and wife Laurie, Toni Ann Kisling and husband Tom, and Joseph P. Riley and wife Kathleen; her grandchildren, Patrick Haines Jr. and wife Keri, Andrew Haines and friend Jenna, Charlie Madden, Sam Madden and wife Alyssa, Zachary, Justin and Tyler Kisling, Kate, Olivia and Sophia Riley, Rebecca and Alexander J. Riley; her great-grandchildren, Caroline and Carson Haines, Kydalyn Haines, Abel Madden, Brea and Knox Madden; her sisters-in-law, Kitty Bester, Diane Riley, Kay Riley, Patty Riley, Mary Kay Summerville and Marge Schneider; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Riley III; sister, Cathy Meakisz; brother, Tom Bester; and brothers-in-law, Mike Riley, Bernard Riley, David Summerville, William Schneider and Donald Waltman and wife Peg.

RILEY — Friends and family of Patricia A. Riley, who died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at All Saints Parish, St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Butler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia’s honor to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
