The following items were collected from various police departments:

Sept. 26 — Jonathan K. Maker, 59, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI-related to a Sept. 6 report of a reckless driver and vehicle crash on Old Plank Road. Police said EMTs administered Narcan to resuscitate Maker. Police said a later blood test showed he had cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl in his system.

Oct. 7 — Titus L. Murray, 34, of Valencia, was charged with misdemeanor bad checks related to an Aug. 1 report by Notary Express. Police said Murray wrote a check for $5,466 that was returned for insufficient funds. Police said Murray has yet to pay the amount, plus the $30 service fee for insufficient funds.

Oct. 4 — Christopher T. Hess, 38, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault related to a Sept. 28 domestic incident on Monmouth Drive. Police said Hess held down his ex-girlfriend and hit her in the stomach.

Oct. 11 — Police charged two people with two sets of charges related to July 30 reports of retail theft at Lowe’s and Home Depot. Pedro A. Rodriguez Ramos, 29, and Dineris B. Rivera, 35, both of New Castle, were charged with misdemeanor counts of retail theft, possessing stolen items and conspiracy. Police said that around 1:46 p.m., the pair entered Lowe’s, grabbed $861 worth of items and exited the store. Police said they loaded up their truck, then drove to Home Depot, where they entered at 2:19 p.m. Police said the pair stole $980 worth of items and fled the store. Police said there was a third unidentified man involved.

Oct. 7 — Melinda S. Patton, 37, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanor theft related to an Aug. 30 report of bad checks by Bilo Foods. Police said Patton wrote four checks to Bilo for a total value of $322. Police said two were returned for insufficient funds and the other two had been submitted despite the account already being closed. Police said none have been paid.

Oct. 10 — Calvin C. Delprete, 28, of Zelienople, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault related to an Oct. 6 incident on Evans Road. Police said a woman tried to grab Delprete’s phone from his pocket. Police said Delprete responded by pinning her down, hitting her in the face and biting her forearm. Police said the bite marks were photographed.

Oct. 9 — Chloe E. Senz, 21, of Youngsville, Pa., was charged with misdemeanor counts of buying and giving alcohol to a minor related to a Sept. 6 investigation in Slippery Rock. Police said Senz bought and gave a 12-pack of beer to a minor.

Oct. 7 — Leroy H. Goepfert, 44, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault related to a Sept. 21 domestic incident on Crisswell Road. Police said Goepfert assaulted his girlfriend by pushing, hitting and biting her. Police said they saw injuries on the woman, including bite marks.

Oct. 10 — Cannon W. Kuchinick, 21, of Murrysville, was charged with misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats and reckless endangerment related to an Oct. 5 road rage incident on Route 8. Police said that during an altercation, Kuchinick pointed a pistol at another vehicle and said “I’ve got something for you.”

Oct. 15 — Joshua A. McCaslin, 35, of Harrisville, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault related to a Sept. 27 incident on Beacon Light Road. Police said McCaslin jumped on another man and punched him repeatedly, which left the man hospitalized with a possible concussion.

Oct. 17 — Timothy M. Fages, 54, of McDonald, Pa., was charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI and possessing drug paraphernalia related to an Oct. 17 incident on Hufnagle Road. Police said Fages had run out of gas and knocked on someone’s door for help. Police said Fages smelled of alcohol and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. Police said that while searching the vehicle they found a straw coated in white powder. Police said Fages later refused to have his blood tested.

Oct. 17 — Dennis L. Shay, 63, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanor counts of possessing marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia related to Sept. 30 traffic stop on Double Road in Connoquenessing Township. Police said that during a search, police found a pipe and a marijuana cigarette.

Oct. 17 — Cayetano J. West, 18, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related an Oct. 5 single-vehicle crash on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed West was impaired and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.127%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

Oct. 17 — Robert E. Schotting, 37, of Hopwood, Pa., was charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest related to an Oct. 16 reported disturbance on Fenelton Road in Clinton Township. Police said that while investigating they arrested Schotting for an active warrant. Police said Schotting pulled away from officers.
