Butler County youth football: See how some local teams did this season
Youth football leagues across Butler County are wrapping up their seasons.

The East Brady Bantam Bulldogs went 8-0 in the nine-team ABC Youth Football League this fall, completing the perfect season with an 18-8 win over Armstrong in a matchup of unbeaten teams.
Players on the team include: Spencer Miles (No. 3), Easton Eiler (5), Cam Robinson (11), Lucy Stimac (13), Case Douglass (14), Wyatt Prejsnar (17), Briggs Kaczmarek (20), Jax Stitt (22), Cooper Hawk (25), Matteao Zanetti (26), Crosby Bertoluzzi (37), Carson Heeter (44), Ryder Wiles (52), Lyle Johns (56), Carson Double (64), Talon Kriebel (65), Joseph Szczygiel (75) and Finn White (90). Coaching the Bulldogs were: Petey Douglass, Jon Miles, Shane Robinson, Michael Stitt and Justin Prejsner.
The Saxonburg Spartans won the Northern 28 Youth Football League’s 10U super bowl this season. They finished 9-1 and beat Deer Lakes 33-6.
Players on the team include: Jaxson Dunnigan Steele, Abel Bundy, Chase LeFever, Gavin Ferguson, Rory Kerr, Elijah Drane, Brody O’Hern, Tyson Dunlap, Bryce Pittman, Ryker Hill, Malayah Pethtel, Cole Tully, Max Hedglin, Austin Fry, Eli Vresko, Bryson Pittman, Tesher Quinn, Roman Thompson, Chase Kurtz, Sylas Crouch, Brogan Best, Mauro LeDonne, Gunnar Foreback, Boyd Moore, Grant Mosby, Benny Kohser, Austin Fishel, Steven Himelinski, Evan Mowry and Gavin Pittman. Coaching the Spartans were: head coach Ian Ferguson, Nick McGaughey, Tyler Quinn, Rich Thompson, Steve Gates and Brandon Mowry.
Moniteau went 8-0 this regular season and won the ABC Youth Football League super bowl with an 18-12 victory over Armstrong on Oct. 26 to finish a perfect 10-0. According to Laci Rossman, a parent on the team, the last Moniteau team to win the league championship was in 2012.

Coaching the Junior Warriors were: head coach Chad Funfer and assistants Callen Funfer, Andy Larimore, Bill McNeish, Nick Denniston and Todd McLean.
Mars’ youth football program had three teams make their league super bowl. The 130-pound (the Astros) and 110-pound (the Rockets) teams won, and the 150-pound team (the Martians) finished second.
