Jock J. Mills
Jock J. Mills, 73, of Cowansville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at home.
He was born July 18, 1951, in Pittsburgh, and was the son of the late Sarajane and Edward D. Mills.
Jock was a retired casino dealer in Las Vegas. He was a member of the Wattersonville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed poker, gardening, golfing, bowling and sports, especially the Steelers, Pirates and Pitt football. Jock was the Knoch Knights mascot and lettered in track. He held a record at Knoch High School, which since has been broken.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel K. (Hough) Mills; brothers, Stan Mills, Ed Mills and Patrick Mills; sister, Sarajane M. Mills-Elder; sons, Tim (Amy) Bristow and Jeremy J. Mills; mother-in-law, Ruby White; brother-in-law, Wally Hough; and sister-in-law, Cindy Brown.
Jock was preceded in death by his parents, Sarajane and Edward D. Mills; his father, Joseph J. Jochum; sister-in-law, Sally Mills; niece, Michelle Mills; and nephew, Christopher Mills.
MILLS — Friends of Jock J. Mills, who died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, will be received from 11 a.m. until the time the funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2024, at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, 832 East Brady Road, Cowansville, with Pastor Sue Foster officiating.
Interment will be in the Wattersonville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
