Butler steel manufacturer Cleveland-Cliffs announced the company has completed the acquisition of Stelco Holdings.

The addition of Stelco enhances the company’s position as one of the largest flat-rolled steel producers in North America and will expand its geographical presence in Canada.

Stelco will continue operations as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cleveland-Cliffs, preserving the name and Canadian legacy of the business.
