Fox Nation premieres documentary on Trump shooting
The efforts of Butler County’s Emergency Services Unit to protect the public and former President Donald Trump are spotlighted in the documentary “Butler Under Fire,” which premiered on Friday, Nov. 1 on the streaming service Fox Nation.
The documentary, which last 22-and-a-half minutes, retells the events of the attempted assassination of Trump which occurred on July 13 at the Butler Farm Show grounds, as well as the investigations that followed it. Multiple members of the Butler County Emergency Services Unit, which played a key role in the security at that event, are interviewed, along with family and colleagues of Corey Comperatore, the volunteer firefighter who was fatally wounded during the shooting.
The documentary also features what it claims are exclusive, never-before-heard radio communications from the events of the shooting.
The film was produced by Franco Porporino Jr., whose past credits on the internet Movie Database include American Chopper, Live PD and Live Rescue.
While the documentary is exclusive to the Fox Nation streaming service — an offshoot of Fox News — it was produced by an outside company, Kissfly Productions, Porporino’s production company.
The film is dedicated to Comperatore, and his family is listed under “special thanks” in the end credits alongside four local police and fire agencies and the Butler County District Attorney’s office.
