Kim Reamer, executive director of the Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center, welcomes guests to the Signature Sensations event on Saturday, Nov. 2. Holly Mead/Special to the Eagle
The Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center hosted numerous people at its annual Signature Sensations event Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Butler Country Club.
Guests at the annual event watched the preparation of six dinner courses from culinary talents in the Butler area, and were then served each course with a specialty wine pairing. WQED personality Chris Fennimore, host of QED Cooks, returned to host the event to showcase some of Butler County's best chefs.
Last year's Signature Sensations raised more than $100,000 to provide high-quality primary medical, dental, vision, dermatology and behavioral health services to uninsured and underinsured patients in our community. This year’s event aimed to raise at least that much money again.
