Cranberry Public Library offering programs for all ages
The Cranberry Public Library, located at 2525 Rochester Road, is offering a series of programs for all ages over the next few weeks.
At 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, the library will host a presentation on diabetes prevention, awareness and management. Healthcare educator Joni Cairns will teach about the warning signs of diabetes and how to prevent and manage it.
Between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, the Carnegie Museum of Natural History is bringing its Mobile Dinosaur Museum to the library. Dinosaur fossils and geological samples will be displayed. Visitors are encouraged to register online for a specific one-hour time slot.
At 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, budding engineers can learn to solder with the help of Ian Lucas, a field service engineer. The class will take participants through the process of soldering a small digital alarm clock.
