Thank you for your service, veterans
On Veterans Day, we honor those steadfast Americans who gave of themselves what no one-day of tribute can ever truly honor — and what no words of appreciation can fully or properly thank. We honor the courage and commitment of veterans whose selfless service enable our great country to remain a beacon of hope and freedom around the world.
From our War of Independence to the Global War on Terrorism, well over 40 million Americans have served freedom’s cause. Today, the VA Butler Healthcare System is honored to serve more than 25,000 of these great men and women.
This Veterans Day, we recommit to honoring America’s veterans and renewing our obligation to fulfill President Abraham Lincoln’s charge to care for those “who shall have borne the battle” and their families, caregivers and survivors.
On Veterans Day, and all year long, I extend my thanks to our nation’s veterans. God bless our veterans, their families, caregivers and survivors, and may he continue to bless our great nation.
Sharon Coyle, director, VA Butler Healthcare System
