CONNOQUENESSING TWP — One occupant was transported to a local hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Evans City Road on Tuesday evening, Nov. 12.

The crash was reported shortly after 6 p.m. and occurred near Martin’s Pizzeria and King Cones Castle. A state police trooper said two vehicles were involved, but scanner reports indicated three vehicles were in the middle of the road.

One of the vehicles is a pickup truck that belongs to a local construction company.

The extent of the injuries of the transported person is unknown, as is how many occupants were in each of the vehicles.

In addition to state police, volunteer fire departments from Connoquenessing and Butler townships responded to the scene, as did the Butler Ambulance Service.
