Joseph E. “Joe” Ball, 69, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Wednesday evening, Nov. 13, 2024, at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township, with his family at his side.

Born in Pittsburgh on April 26, 1955, he was the son of the late Edward Joseph “Joe” and Patricia Saldutte Ball. Joe was the stepson of the late Ronald Rossey.

He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.

Joe was the owner of Joe Ball GMC in Glenshaw.

A member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and, most of all, he loved time spent with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Kathleen “Kathy” Lelia Ball, whom he married on Feb. 14, 1976; a son, Brian Ball (Dawnmarie) of Delaware, Ohio; two daughters, Jamie Ball (Brian Beil) of Mars and Kristie Ball of Cranberry Township; three grandchildren, Elliot Ball and Joseph and Samuel Bandzak; his canine companion, Frank; a brother, James “Jim” Ball (Lisa Pasquarella) of Orchard Park, N.Y.; and his sister, Susan Bradway (Mark) of Carnegie.

BALL — Friends of Joseph E. “Joe” Ball, who died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Road, Cranberry Township. Please meet at the church. Father Charles Bober, pastor, will officiate. Entombment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
