David Bowman, 78, of Butler passed away on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024. He was born in Butler Sept. 14, 1946, and was the son to the late James and Marietta (Scarpitti) Bowman.

David graduated from Butler High School in 1965, then worked for and retired from Troy Allen Automotive Sales. He was known for being an honest and hardworking man and a wonderful husband, dad and grandfather. David enjoyed hunting and exercising, especially lifting weights.

He was the beloved husband of Diana (Robinson) Bowman since their marriage on April 22, 1972; father of Dave and Mark (Hope) Bowman; grandfather of Grace Rudish and Lydia Bowman; and great-grandfather of Raine and Tate. David also is survived by sister-in-law, Michelle Bowman, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Bowman.
