John Keck

Keck

John Reynold Keck, 72, of Butler, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, at Allegheny General Hospital surrounded by the ones he loved. He joined his loving family and friends in heaven, where they are worshiping God the Father and praising His name.

Born on Nov. 27, 1951, in Butler, he was the son to the late Reynold A. and Martha Keck. He graduated from Butler High School and then went to Butler County Community College where he got his associate degree. He then went on to Clarion University where he earned his bachelor's degree.

He retired from AK Steel from the receiving department. He had many hobbies, loved the outdoors, and loved his family and friends. He loved to hike, kayak, ride his bike, was a published photographer, his proudest being in the Pennsylvania Magazine, and most importantly, loved the Lord and was a servant to all who knew him.

In honor of all the ways he served God and so many people, we celebrate by saying, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

He is survived by his wife, Debbie L. Keck; and his daughter, Emily E. Keck.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reynold A. Keck and Martha T. Keck.
