Mars grad, Indiana women’s soccer player Piper Coffield commits to Pittsburgh Riveters

Mars Area High School graduate Piper Coffield has committed to play for Pittsburgh Riveters SC, a women’s soccer team that will play its inaugural season in USL W next spring.
Coffield, who helped the Planets win three straight state championships 2019-21, recently wrapped up her sophomore season at Indiana University. While much of her focus has been on defense with the Hoosiers, she has tallied five goals and two assists in her two seasons with the team.
