Melanie Olen, 76, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024.

She was born in Butler on April 7, 1948, to the late John and Edna (Dietrich) Olen.

She was employed at and retired as a secretary for Butler Memorial Hospital, she also was a part-time greeter at Kelly Chevrolet.

Melanie was a loving mother and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was the mother of Michael (Heather) Olen; and grandmother of Cameron and Adelyn.

Along with her parents, Melanie was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Olen; and her brother, Mike Olen.

OLEN — All arrangements for Melanie Olen, who died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024, were made privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. The family is celebrating Melanie’s life privately.
