Update: Shelter in place order lifted for Butler’s Locust Street
State police have lifted a shelter in place order for Locust Street in Butler that was initially put in place at 7:09 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21.
State police issued a shelter in place order for people in the area of Locust Street in Butler Thursday morning in a post on X, formerly Twitter, by Troop D’s public information officer, Bertha Cazy. The post said state police, the Butler County Task Force, the Drug Enforcement Agency and the District Attorney are conducting drug-related search warrants on the street.
The news release from state police lifting the order said 14 people have been taken into custody.
