Nancy Torrance

Nancy E. Torrance, 77, of Gibsonia, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024.

She was born in Baltimore, Md., on March 14, 1947, daughter of the late Fred and Betty Torrance.

She was the beloved wife for 31 years of David F. Maloney; loving mother of Stacy Finke (Wylie Woods); and sister of the late Steve Torrance.

Nancy was proud to be raised in Winfield, Kan. After raising her beloved daughter, Stacy, at home in Pittsburgh and Cranberry Township, she worked as a medical assistant in home health care for many years. In addition, Nancy loved bird watching, star gazing and poetry.

TORRANCE — Friends of Nancy E. Torrance, who died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024, will be received from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association, www.lung.org.
