Let me get this straight. Jill Mick (“Now Election Is Over, Time for Unity,” Nov. 17, A4) doesn't think it's OK to offer college students milk and cookies after an election loss.

Did she think it was OK four years ago when an armed mob stormed the Capitol, chanting “Hang Mike Pence,” destroying property, attacking law enforcement and causing several deaths?

Maybe she agrees with the president-elect that it was a “day of love.”

Those of us who supported Kamala Harris are entitled to our horror that a person of such low character will be leading our nation.
