Mars library to show parents how to keep kids safe on social media
It goes without saying that the internet and social media can be a dangerous place for impressionable children, and that is becoming increasingly true with each passing year.
Parents and educators can learn how to manage their children’s social media activity and keep them out of trouble at the Keeping Kids Safe Online seminar at the Mars Area Public Library at 1 p.m. Dec. 9. The seminar is hosted by licensed professional counselor Alexandra Dimoff.
At the seminar, parents will learn how to monitor and manage their child’s online activity and screen time and keep them safe from cyberbullying and other digital harms.
Registration is available at the Mars Area Public Library website.
