With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Brian Thomas Hepfl, of Butler, a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend who passed away on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at the young age of 42, following a brief illness.

Born on May 21, 1982, he was the cherished son of Thomas and Kathy Hepfl. In addition, he is survived by his beloved wife, Angela (Freedline) Hepfl, whom he married on Aug. 26, 2019; a beautiful daughter, Reese Hepfl; his furry companion, Max; and sister, Jennifer Hepfl. As well, he is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Brian was a hardworking employee of Hepfl Paving Inc. for over two decades. Furthermore, Brian owned and operated Hepfl Sealcoating. Brian enjoyed golfing, going to Voelker’s camp and lending a helping hand. A devoted family man, he enjoyed watching his daughter grow in cheerleading, softball and horseback riding.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sherwell and Berniece Hepfl; and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Wharton.

HEPFL — Family and friends of Brian Thomas Hepfl, who died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, will be received from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service, officiated by Dennis Molnar, will immediately follow in the funeral home.
