Cranberry Township Water Park admission rates set to rise in 2025
The rising operational costs of Cranberry Township’s Water Park will prompt an increase in admission fees ahead of the 2025 season.
Across all available membership options, township residents and nonresidents will see an average increase of about 7% for access to the water park.
Cranberry’s Water Park Fund is one of five enterprise funds along with water, sewer, solid waste and golf. According to the township’s budget, all of those funds are intended to be self-sustaining through user fees and capital expenditures are included in each respective fund’s budget.
The water park operations budget, when adjusted for capital improvements and master-plan funding, is expected to increase by 2.3% overall. The overall budget totals out to $968,161 in 2025, with the bulk of that expense being $513,731 in personnel costs.
That budget also includes funds for the refurbishment of the dump bucket and to finish the upgrade to the slide, which began this year. There is also funding for a master plan that will look at water park needs over the next decade.
Rates for a family of four for residents is $235 until Dec. 31. After that date, the price will be $268 until March 31. Meanwhile, the price for nonresidents for a family of four will be $342 until Dec. 31, and after the calendar flips, that will go up to $386 until March 31.
Some of the perks of a membership include early entry, discounted guest passes, discounted swim lessons, discounted private pool party rentals, free admission to Totally Tubular Tuesday Night Swims and no wait in the admissions line.
Daily admission rates without a membership in 2025 will be $11 for residents and $16 for nonresidents. There are discounts of $10 for residents and $14 for nonresidents that include children ages 2 to 12 and seniors who are 55 and older.
A water park membership will provide unlimited use from May 24 to Sept. 1.
