Aric Hartle
Aric John Hartle, 47, passed away suddenly on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024, at AHN Grove City.
Aric was born on Jan. 8, 1977, in Clarion, Pa. to Robert Edward Hartle and Darlene Louise Pfendler Hartle. He was affectionately known as “A” to friends.
Aric was a 1995 graduate of North Clarion High School and earned his bachelor’s in computer science from Clarion University in 1999. After graduation, Aric was employed by Blair Corporation in Warren, Pa. He then moved on to becoming a manager at FedEx in Moon Township, Pa.
Aric married Kristen Danielle Nordstrom on Aug. 19, 2000. Aric had deep love for his four children, Alysa, Ellie, Cameron and Janelle. He was always there to listen, and they would all go to his basement office and have long conversations together.
When Aric’s dad passed away, he and his brother, Bryan, inherited CMR Products, a highly successful model train business. Most recently, Aric found a love for train speeders. He would spend three weekends running them on the OC&T Railroad. Additionally, Aric sat on the board of the Lakeshore Railway Historical Society. He most recently ran a Toys for Tots Speeder Run.
Survivors include his wife, Kristen at home; four children, Alysa of Erie, Gabrielle “Ellie,” Cameron, and Janelle all of Harrisville; mother, Darlene Hartle of Clarion; brother, Bryan (Jamie) Hartle of Slippery Rock; parents-in-law, John and Marsha Nordstrom of Warren; sister-in-law, Kara (Mike) Barone of Franklin Park, Pa.; nephews, Cody Hartle and Madden Barone; niece, Karaline Barone; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” Hartle; and grandparents, Norman (Dorothy) Pfendler and Bernard (Avalee) Hartle.
HARTLE — Family of Aric John Hartle, who died Monday, Nov. 25, 2024, will receive friends from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, and from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. The Revs. Matt Reitz and Kevin Myers will be presiding.
Interment will be at Prairie Cemetery in Harrisville.
