Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

State police, Butler

Nov. 21 — David W. Eberhardt, 33, of Evans City, was charged with flight to avoid apprehension, speeding and driving without a license after police said he fled on foot from a March 29 traffic stop on Evans City Road in Forward Township.

Nov. 26 — Madyson E. Kemery, 20, of Emlenton, was charged with accidents involving damage and two summary traffic violations after police said she struck the rear end of another vehicle on Nov. 17 while driving south on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.

Nov. 13 — Melissa S. Gutshall, 39, of Butler, was charged with driving under the influence and two summary traffic violations following a Sept. 23 traffic stop on West Fulton Street in Butler. Police said she refused to take a blood test, but admitted to having marijuana in her system.

Nov. 16 — David McCollum, 18, of Slippery Rock, was charged with DUI after police said he was pulled over on Euclid Road in Clay Township for traffic violations and found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Nov. 21 — Joseph R. Tulick, 37, of Pittsburgh, was charged with accidents involving damage and four summary traffic violations after police said he struck a vehicle that was stopped at a red traffic signal at the intersection of Route 68 and Washington Street in Evans City on June 1 and left the scene.

Nov. 15 — William J. Ford, 42, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two counts of DUI and three summary traffic violations after police said he was found asleep on Oct. 13 in a car that parked over the white fog line on Route 68 in Forward Township and showed signs of impairment.

Nov. 15 — Mark E. Morrissey Jr., 39, of Cranberry Township, was charged with three counts of DUI of a controlled substance and three summary traffic violations after police said he was pulled over after passing two vehicles, including an unmarked patrol vehicle, while driving west on Route 68 in Forward Township in the eastbound lane in a no passing zone on Sept. 24.

Nov. 21 — Keegan Minear, 28, of Cranberry Township, was charged with DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana and a summary traffic violation after police said he was pulled over on Route 19 in Jackson Township for crossing lane dividers and a trooper noticed the smell of marijuana coming from his vehicle.

Nov. 18 — Hannah L. Blatt, 26, of Slippery Rock, was charged with three counts of driving under the influence, possession of a small amount of marijuana and two summary traffic violations. Police said she was pulled over after they received multiple calls about an erratic driver on Route 8 in Center Township on Oct. 31 and saw her nearly drive off the road. She showed signs of impairment, police said.

Nov. 19 — Charles J. Turney, 32, of Petrolia, was charged with false written statement and statement under penalty after police said he attempted to buy a .357 magnum Smith and Wesson handgun from Fenelton Firearms in Clearfield Township on Aug. 13 with a first-degree misdemeanor conviction on he record.

Nov. 19 — Brycon K. Slaughenhaupt, 31, of Emlenton, was charged with theft after police said he took three boxes of electrical outlets from Pennwest Homes in Emlenton on Nov. 5 while he was working.

Nov. 19 — Thomas X. Frame, 27, of Butler, was charged with three counts of DUI of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and three summary traffic violations after police said he was pulled over for speeding Sept. 16 on Route 422 in Clearfield Township and showed signs of impairment.

Nov. 19 — Abraham Michaca, 52, of Seven Fields, was charged with two counts of DUI, resisting arrest and four summary traffic violations after police said his fiancé called asked police to conduct a welfare check, saying Michaca was driving under the influence of alcohol while his license was suspended for DUI and he made concerning statements. Police said Michaca was pulled over Nov. 18 on New Castle Road in Worth Township, an odor of alcohol was detected, an open container of beer was found in his car and he admitted to drinking.

Nov. 18 — Leonard A. Ealy, 55, of Slippery Rock, was charged with theft of secondary metal and receiving stolen property after police said surveillance footage taken Nov. 11 showed him taking furnaces, air conditioning units and scrap metal from a container at Nemchek Heating and Cooling in Slippery Rock Township. The materials were sold to a scrap yard for $50.

Nov. 18 — Robert D. Crispen, 55, of Prospect, was charged with two counts of DUI and three summary traffic violations after police said he struck a shrub at the intersection of Unionville Road and Stamm Lane in Franklin Township on July 20 while operating a motorcycle. Police said he suffered a leg injury, emitted an odor of alcohol and had a blood alcohol content of 0.156%. A driver with a BAC of 0.08% is considered legally intoxicated in Pennsylvania.

Nov. 18 — Justin T. McMeans, 20, of Lower Burrell, was charged with DUI of a controlled substance and three summary traffic violations after police said he crashed a vehicle on Route 8 near Staff Road in Brady Township and was treated for injuries. Police said he was driving with a suspended license and he admitted to smoking marijuana.

State police, Kittanning

Oct. 12 — Janene Stitt, 44, of Kittanning, was charged with theft after police said she took $40 in cash that two Cabot residents accidentally left at a self-checkout counter at a Hilltop Plaza business.
