St. Wendelin School student honored in calendar contest
A fifth-grade student from St. Wendelin School was one of the winners of the Attorney General’s Drug Free Calendar Contest.
Lilly Tirk won money for a college savings account, as well as an invitation to a luncheon with the Pennsylvania attorney general, and a tour of the Pennsylvania Capitol.
In October, National Substance Abuse Prevention Month, fifth-graders across Pennsylvania were encouraged to create original artwork that illustrated a drug-free message. The winning artwork from 13 students will then be selected to appear in a 2025 calendar that will be published across the state.
