Patricia Sutton
Patricia M. “Pat” Sutton, 90, of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries at Cabot.
She was born on Dec. 17, 1933, to the late P. Joseph McLaughlin and the late Martha (Huff) McLaughlin.
Pat was a graduate of Butler High School and worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Co. for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed shopping, sitting on her deck, and boating on the lake with her husband, Meade. Pat led a full life, was a friend to many and was sharp as a tack until the very end.
Pat is survived by her two brothers, Joseph (Delores) McLaughlin of Chicago and Daniel McLaughlin of Tionesta; her sister, Karen Rumin of Pittsburgh; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Meade G. Sutton, who passed away on Jan. 19, 2020; her sister, Joanne Morrow; and two brothers, Thomas McLaughlin and Eugene McLaughlin.
SUTTON — Family and friends of Patricia M. “Pat” Sutton, who died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024, will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
Following the visitation, a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at All Saints Parish, St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler, with Father John Baver officiating.
A private entombment will be held at Butler County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Pat's honor to American Legion Post 117, 413 S. Main St., Butler, PA 16001.
