Mary L. Doerr, 71, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at her residence.

She was born March 10, 1953, in Butler, the daughter of the late Howard Rankin and Helen (Hilliard) Rankin. Mary was a retired data transcriber from USIS. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Jason (Chris) D. Doerr and Shaun Doerr, both of Butler; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Tonya and Decklyn; great-grandchildren, Jaelyn and Elijah; four sisters, Brenda Hughes of Hooker, Martha (Dave) Hughes of Higgins Corners, Donna (Duane) Douglas of Six Points and Cyndi Rankin of Pittsburgh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick G. Doerr, who died June 12, 2011; two brothers; and three sisters.

DOERR — Friends of Mary L. Doerr, who died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

Private interment will be in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.
