Miller Minutes: Read about Molly’s Spotify Wrapped & this weekend’s events ‘wrapped’ up
Happy Spotify Wrapped season, everyone.
If you are unfamiliar, the music app Spotify keeps statistics on your listening throughout the year and reports back around this time who your top artists, songs and genres were. The audiophiles of the internet (myself included) have been anxiously awaiting their results.
I updated you all on my listening habits last year, and thought I would do the same for you once again. Musical preference can tell you a lot about a person. Since music is also a big part of my life, I thought it was only fair to share with you what was pinging through my headphones the past 365 days.
So, without further ado, here is Molly Miller’s 2024 Spotify Wrapped:
√ This year, I listened to 20,851 minutes worth of music, and on one day in September, I listened more than 350 minutes.
√ My top artist was Taylor Swift (no surprise here), but I listened to over 950 other artists total.
√ My most listened to song was “Guilty as Sin?” by Taylor Swift, which I listened to 49 times. I was in the top 0.1% of listeners of it.
√ Other artists I listened to included Lizzy McAlpine, The 1975 and Sabrina Carpenter.
√ I spent 2,151 minutes listening to podcasts.
Not a bad year, all in all. I explored genres I was previously unfamiliar with and shared many playlists with others. This Spotify Wrapped was a reminder of all the nights I spent with my friends singing along to songs in the car or even at different events around Butler County.
Speaking of, there are plenty of opportunities to gather in and around Butler County this weekend. And who knows, maybe you can make a new friend at an event by sharing your own Spotify Wrapped data.
