Seneca Valley School District is hosting its holiday event for senor citizens Dec. 19.

The event will be held from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at Seneca Valley Intermediate High School from. It is open to senior citizens who live in the district.

There will be performances from the Seneca Valley Jazz Band, Madrigal Singers and Orchestra in the auditorium for those in attendance.

After the performances, the National Honor Society will serve a sit-down holiday meal in the school’s cafeteria for the attendees. For the event, artwork from Seneca Valley students will be displayed. Members of the Seneca Valley JROTC also will be helping at the event, providing assistance to those in attendance.

The event is free, but registration for the event required by Thursday, Dec. 12. Anybody interested in attending can call 724-452-6040.
