Resek

Monica Lee Resek, 57, of Slippery Rock, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at AHN Grove City.

She was born on Aug. 28, 1967, in Grove City, to John Edward Resek and Grace Louise Meyer Resek.

Monica graduated from Slippery Rock High School and later worked in the Slippery Rock School District as a secretary for over 20 years. She was active in her community. Monica volunteered to help with Little League Baseball and participated with the Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Team.

She is survived by her mother, Grace L. Resek of Slippery Rock; two daughters, Cassie T. (Ryan) Shontz of Slippery Rock and Alexis G. Vogan of Mercer; son, Walker T. Vogan of Slippery Rock; and brother, John Paul Resek (Stacey) and niece, Samantha L. Resek, both of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her father.

RESEK — There will be no public services for Monica Lee Resek, who died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024.
