Christopher Hoffman

Christopher A. Hoffman, 48, of New Castle, passed away suddenly Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, in Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in McCandless Township May 10, 1976, he was the son of Susan H. Hartzell Hoffman and Gary F. Hoffman. Chris was a general contractor who owned Just Fix It.

He was very much interested in emergency rescue and firefighting.

He was a great stargazer. Chris loved the outdoors and was an avid Penguins fan.

He is survived by one son, Ethan D. Toney; one daughter, Emilee L. Hoffman; Chris’s fiancée, Claire Hatcher; his mother, Susan Hartzell Hoffman and her fiancé, Timothy Sutton; his father, Gary Hoffman and his wife, Regina; one sister, Kimberly S. Zdobinski and her fiancé Gilbert Roland; two brothers, Joseph K. Hoffman and Jason P. (Jaimee) Hoffman; one stepdaughter, Madison Hatcher; one stepson, Niclaus Hatcher; a daughter-in-law, Cheyenne Schroder; and his former wife, Susan Carol Hoffman.

Chris was preceded in death by one son, Dylan Schroder; his twin brother, Michael Hoffman; and a stepdaughter, Justine Love.

HOFFMAN — Friends and relatives of Christopher A. Hoffman, who died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, at A. CARL KINSEY-RONALD N. VOLZ FUNERAL HOME, Evans City.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald Funeral Home to help the family defray costs.
