Grief service included in Saxonburg church holiday schedule
St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Saxonburg will host a grief holiday service Thursday, Dec. 19.
Comfort at Christmas, a prayer and carol service for those experiencing grief and loss, will take place at 7 p.m., Thursday at the church, 310 W. Main St.
The service will include Scriptural words of comfort, music, speakers and candle lighting. The service is open to the public, and will be livestreamed.
The final Advent reflection time for prayer will also take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 18 in the church sanctuary.
Christmas Eve services will be held at 7 and 10 p.m. Dec. 24.
