Police Reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Nov. 12 — Brittany P. Lynn, 27, of Renfrew, was charged with misdemeanor counts of possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia related to an Aug. 6 investigation of a separate incident at Sheetz in Center Township. Police said they noticed Lynn was at a dangerous level of intoxication. Police said the vehicle Lynn was in was reported stolen, and while searching it, they found suspected crack cocaine and brass wire in Lynn’s bag.
Nov. 12 — Justin M. Hutchison, 30, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a Sept. 2 single-vehicle crash on Fairmont Road in Fairview Township. Police said Hutchison tossed a straw on the ground before they searched him. Police said Hutchison later refused a breath test.
Nov. 12 — Jerod J. Hutchison, 30, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor counts of drug and drug paraphernalia possession related to a Sept. 28 report of a possible overdose on Clearview Circle in Center Township. Police said they later found Hutchison, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. Police said they also found seven stamp bags of suspected heroin in the vehicle.
Nov. 8 — Shanna M. Austin, 45, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI and drug possession related to a Sept. 28 report of a driver slumped behind the wheel of a vehicle on West Water Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed Austin was impaired. Police said while arresting her, they found her with pills she had no prescription for. Police said Austin later refused any further testing.
Nov. 8 — Kevin R. Gallagher, 42, of Wexford, was charged with misdemeanor counts of bad checks related to three checks in 2023. Police said the checks totaled $9,387, and they were all made out to John W. Thrower.
Nov. 6 — Julie T. Steinhaus, 55, of Emlenton, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a Sept. 7 traffic stop on Henricks Road in Summit Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Steinhaus was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.204%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.
Nov. 6 — Antonio Alej-Montgomery, 27, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI and possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia related to an Oct. 29 traffic stop on North Main Street Extension in Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Alej-Montgomery was impaired. Police said Alej-Montgomery declined to have his vehicle searched or his blood tested. Police said they received a warrant for the former and found a bag of suspected meth and straw with residue on it.
Nov. 6 — Arlene M. Kinney, 61, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an Oct. 16 traffic stop on East Slippery Rock Road in Donegal Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Kinney was impaired, and a later breath test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.208% In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.
Nov. 6 — Logan A. Savannah, 21, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an Aug. 30 traffic stop on East Jefferson Street in Butler. Police said field sobriety tests showed Savannah was impaired, and a later blood test showed marijuana in his system.
Nov. 5 — Jesica J. Frishkorn, 31, of Grove City, was charged with misdemeanor loitering related to an Oct. 29 disturbance on Harmony Road in Mercer Township. Police said Frishkorn crashed her vehicle along the road and went to a nearby house, where she proceeded to knock on the basement door for two minutes, before moving to the front door. Police said she knocked and jiggled the handle of the door until the homeowner threatened to call police.
Nov. 5 — Daniel P. Getty, 27, of Bellefonte, was charged with misdemeanor counts of possessing drugs, drug paraphernalia and marijuana related to a Feb. 28 welfare check. Police said they found Getty and were alerted he had a warrant for his arrest. Police said during the arrest, they found Getty with a syringe with suspected heroin or fentanyl inside it, as well as 5 grams of marijuana.
