High school roundup: North Catholic boys, girls both power to big wins
North Catholic’s Jason Fredericks had 23 points, Joe Waskiewicz added 21 and the Trojans led by 24 after one quarter in an 86-38 win at home Wednesday night.
Girls Basketball
Sarah Loughry had 13 points and Lauren Reitz 10 as North Catholic beat Valley 74-29. The Trojanettes led by 23 at halftime.
Bowling
Hannah Windows had a high series of 718 and a high game of 257 as Freeport’s girls downed Burrell 7-0. On the boys’ side, Colin Cummings rolled a 688 series and had high game of 258.
