Craig ‘Wit’ Witenski
Craig W. “Wit” Witenski, 59, of Cabot, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.
Born Aug. 20, 1965, in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of Robert Witenski and Nancy Funk Witenski.
Wit had worked as a senior operating technician for ATI in Leechburg and Vandergrift for 32 years, retiring in 2020. He was a member of White Star Club in Buffalo Township. He played semipro football for the Alle-Kiski Rough Riders and Springdale Chargers and played fast/slow pitch softball for 30 years. He enjoyed golfing, refereeing and coaching football and especially camping with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Amy Badger-Witenski, whom he married on Oct. 31, 2012; his daughter, Taylor (Corey) Witenski-Haney of Butler; his son, Tanner Witenski of Kittanning; one stepson, Trace Trempus of Cabot; one stepdaughter, Autumn Trempus of Moon Township; three grandchildren, Skylar, Collin and Reagan; and his siblings, Rob Witenski of Sarver, Laura Lang of Freeport and Michael (Angela) Witenski of Moon Township.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
WITENSKI — Friends of Craig W. “Wit” Witenski, who died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dave Roddy officiating.
